PCs may have made some things simpler, but they have also reorganized a lot of things. You may observe your employees. Nobody just sits around. However, all these workers may be doing everything but not their jobs. Is spying really a viable option? Or possibly there could be more options around that deal with internet monitoring?
Some supervisors had to make hard choices in the past. Only spyware was available for computer monitoring . Spyware is the name for computer applications that make screenshots, copy text the user inputs into their computer, monitor traffic. Yes, you get the power. The problem is that you may lose something else. Spying on people takes away their respect.
There's good news too. We have produced a special program that effectively resolves the issue. It is a system of employee monitoring called Work Examiner. It allows for transparent system of monitoring and self monitoring that does not violate privacy, because it monitors the time spent online rather than traffic (unlike various proxies). This gives a more useful result in terms of control.
Currently we are offering Work Examinor for computer monitoring in two different packages. Both versions monitor application use, websites attended, how much time they spend doing what tasks. Both versions allow restrictions on access to selected websites or applications. The Professional version allows for different access rights to employee statistic so that everybody has only the access to the data the have the right to see.
Returing to the sensitive issue of spyings using our program you do not get screen shots or some confidential data you do not need. Instead you get cleverly crafted employee monitoring reports regarding the time and application use. More importantly, this system encourages self monitoring and more proper time use by your underlingsEven better, this system motivates your employees to use work time more efficiently and self-monitor their own computer use.
